WayStaq ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and date of birth, provided at signup
• Profile photo: if you choose to upload one
• Trip data: countries, stops, hotels, expenses, tasks and budgets you enter
• Account tier and trial status
• Usage data: actions you take within the app such as creating trips, adding expenses and exporting data, along with timestamps. This is used to improve WayStaq and send relevant product communications.
• Marketing consent: whether you opted in to receive marketing emails at signup

Why we collect it

To provide and improve WayStaq. Your trip data is used solely to power your personal dashboard. We do not sell your data to third parties. If you opted in at signup, we may send you occasional tips, product updates and offers by email. You can opt out at any time by emailing us.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, which uses AWS infrastructure in the EU and is GDPR compliant. Your site is served via Cloudflare's global network. Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not store payment card details.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently and immediately deleted.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from within the app. To exercise any other rights, or to opt out of marketing emails, email us at hello@waystaq.com.

Cookies

We use only essential session cookies for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Age requirement

WayStaq is for users aged 18 and over. We verify age at signup and do not knowingly collect data from minors.
